Rio Hardy signs for Coventry United Ladies FC

Coventry United are delighted to announce our ninth new signing of the summer, Rio Hardy from Cypriot side, Apollon Ladies FC. 

Hardy, who has previously played in the Champions League for Apollon, spent two years in the Cypriot league as well as having a spells in Iceland and America. 

The midfielder is another great addition to Jay Bradford’s squad ahead of the new season and the manager said,

Rio is a player that we have been keeping track of for a while. Her stats speak for themselves so I'm excited to see her flourish in the Championship

On her arrival, Hardy said, 

This is a very exciting next step in my career and I’m very happy to have signed for Coventry United. The clubs ambitions match my own and I can’t wait to get going.

In total, eight additions have now been made by Coventry United so far this summer. Thomas joins fellow new signings Katie Wilkinson, Charlie Estcourt, Mollie Green, Olivia Fergusson, Grace Riglar, Nom Hartley and Lucy Thomas at the Butts Park Arena.
