Johnson is the third defensive player to be signed by Coventry United boss Jay Bradford as she looks to plug one of the leakiest defences in the FA Women’s Championship in recent times. Johnson’s former Sheffield United defensive colleague Nom Hartley has also recently joined Coventry United, as has former Leicester City full-back Grace Riglar.
During her time in South Yorkshire, Johnson made 13 appearances for Sheffield United in the FA Women’s Championship. The player can also count Leicester City amongst her former second tier clubs.

Coventry United have now signed eight players so far this summer and there is a really positive vibe around the club going into the new season.
